Vision
To build simple, durable micro electric vehicles that can be manufactured locally and made accessible across the MENA region.
Why it began?
1) Founder Nicolas Abou Chaar sought to create local manufacturing opportunities in Lebanon after working in Germany’s automotive sector.
2)Early experimentation focused on improving accessibility and ergonomics in children’s mobility devices.
3) The company was built on the belief that simple design can enable small-scale manufacturing.
How is it going?
1) Products sold more than ten years ago are still functioning today, reflecting strong durability.
2) Phoenus is expanding production through a partnership with an Egyptian company.
3) Current focus is on electric mobility R&D and validating an international assembly model.
